Sports Law

Sports law and football: Belgium, France, England, international.

We assess the scope, stakes and documents of your matter before defining an engagement and its fees.

Your request is reviewed within 24 business hours.

Your career is decided off the pitch too; we defend every decision.

Act without delay

In this area, time often works against you. A few situations where every day counts:

  • Proceedings before FIFA, the BAS and the CAS are subject to short, mandatory deadlines.
  • A transfer window or contractual deadline is approaching and shapes your options.
  • A disciplinary decision or sanction can only be challenged within a short period.

We respond to your request within 24 business hours. Your communications are covered by professional secrecy, and the first consultation is defined in scope and deducted if a file is opened.

When to seek advice

A sporting career is also shaped by contracts, representation and decisions away from the field. We connect sporting, economic and regulatory issues to inform your choices.

You are negotiating a contract or transfer

Duration, pay, termination, image rights and representation: we examine commitments and rules before signature. International transactions and minors require specific checks.

You face a sporting dispute

Unpaid salary, contract termination or a disciplinary decision: we analyse facts, evidence, deadlines and jurisdiction before defining possible steps.

You support a career or prepare to become an agent

Players, parents, agents and clubs have different responsibilities. We clarify mandates, obligations and issues to watch. FIFA training is preparation, without a guarantee of passing the exam.

Frequently asked questions

What does an agent do compared with a lawyer?

The agent represents and negotiates under the applicable sports rules. The lawyer provides independent legal analysis and defends the client’s interests.

When should I sign with an agent?

After reviewing the mandate, duration, exclusivity, remuneration and termination terms. Special rules must be checked for minors.

How does training compensation work?

It depends on registration history, age and the applicable rules. Solidarity contributions are a separate mechanism.

What should I do about unpaid wages?

Keep the contract, payslips and correspondence. Have amounts, deadlines and the competent forum checked before a formal notice or termination.

What does FIFA agent training cover?

Preparation for the examined rules and their professional application: representation, contracts, transfers and duties. Training does not guarantee exam success or a FIFA licence.
